Margaret Statue (circa 1900-06 and 2012)
New Orleans, Louisiana Margaret Haughery (1813-1882) was an Irish philanthropist knows as the "mother of the orphans" since she opened up four orphanages around New Orleans in the 19th century. The monument was unveiled in 1884 and is located at Camp and Prytania Streets.
